Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation is the Central Government body responsible for: planning, leading, executing and evaluating State foreign policy; coordinating and enhancing Spain''s relations with other states and international organisations; promoting Spain''s economic, cultural and scientific relations; leading the International Development Cooperation Policy; protecting Spanish citizens abroad; and participating in the formulation and application of foreign policy.
