Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation

The Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, is the administrative body for Spanish policy on international development cooperation. Its purpose is to promote, manage and implement public policies for international development cooperation, which are aimed at combating poverty and achieving sustainable human development in developing countries.
